Description

Construction continues to be one of the sectors with the highest accident rates, as confirmed by statistics showing a 7% increase in 2024 compared to the previous year. Spain is not alone—countries such as the USA and the UK have seen an increase of 55% compared to last year.

To address this challenge, SEGURIA was created: a project aimed at researching and developing an advanced system for site surveillance and safety. The goal is not just to “prevent accidents” but to anticipate risks before they occur. This innovative system integrates:

  • Reality capture of the construction site
  • Analysis of collected information to enable real-time decision-making
  • Methodology for the execution phase and connection with future digital twins through the BIM-PRL solution
  • Centralization of information via a new digital tool interoperable with the construction ecosystem

CEMOSA's Role

CEMOSA Eusko Control contributes its specialized knowledge in BIM methodology and its application during design and execution phases. Our participation focuses on:

  • Developing products to automate the evolutionary generation of BIM-PRL models
  • Creating a tool to compare BIM models with safety standards (NdP), aimed at identifying collective safety measures as part of the CHECK phase
  • Automating the evolutionary generation of BIM-PRL models and using the comparison tool to check collective protection systems
  • Validating prototypes developed in the pilot phase
  • Defining specifications for the new ToBE process and participating as observers in the development of the integrated solution
