CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR)

From CEMOSA we want to communicate that in besides having rights and obligations to our shareholders, we are also responsible for the social and environmental impacts that may result from our activity.

To this end, at CEMOSA we have set several objectives to be taken into account at all times: to minimise the negative impacts on society and to work towards the development of human rights.

To this end, we have developed an Equality Plan and a Plan for Prevention and Action in cases of harassment in the workplace.

Another of our main objectives is to respect international guidelines and recommendations on CSR, where it is worth mentioning the special care we take with the environment. That is why CEMOSA carries out actions such as:

Analysis and Evaluation of Environmental Risks according to the methodology established in the UNE 150008 standard.
Verification of the environmental risk analysis report.
Monitoring and surveillance of the primary repair project.

On the other hand, we would like to highlight that voluntarily, since 2020, in CEMOSA we analyse our carbon footprint annually, which allows us to quantify in a more precise and detailed way the origin of GHG emissions (Greenhouse Gases), being very useful to detect those areas that are susceptible to improvement and proposing strategies to reduce these GHG emissions.

GENDER EQUALITY

At CEMOSA we have an Equality Committee whose members are representatives of the employees and the company. We also have an Equality Plan and a Procedure for the prevention and intervention in cases of harassment in the workplace.

We have planned a series of actions aimed to ensure CEMOSA’s commitment to the principles of equal treatment and equal opportunities between women and men, and to establish mechanisms to prevent situations of discrimination based on sex from occurring.

CLEAN WATER AND DRAINAGE

At CEMOSA, we are aware of how important it is to take care of water for our planet, because although it is a renewable resource, it is finite.

In order to contribute to keeping this resource clean, we work on water supply and sanitation networks, as well as on wastewater treatment plants and drinkable water treatment plants, among other hydraulic works.

AFFORDABLE AND NON-POLLUTING ENERGY

CEMOSA’s activity in the fields of renewable energies (wind, solar and hydraulic) ranges from its own studies and analysis of the resource, to the detailed engineering of execution, including property engineering, for the execution of large projects.

DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH

CEMOSA is a company specialised in health and safety on construction sites.

We provide services in the technical and legal field, with the aim of protecting the promoter from the legal obligations derived from the current regulations in terms of occupational risk prevention, by coordinating, committing and involving all those who take part in a construction project.

Furthermore, we are members of ISSCO (Professional Association for Safety and Health on Construction Sites).

The company’s upper management is strongly committed to the acquisition of knowledge by allocating the necessary human and financial resources, establishing an R&D policy and defining objectives that are reviewed annually.

CEMOSA participates in development areas such as transport infrastructure and building and energy efficiency.

At CEMOSA, one of our goals is to provide safe and sustainable transport for everyone, as well as to improve safety on roads, railways and subways.

In addition, we analyse our carbon footprint annually, which allows us to quantify more precisely and granularly the origin of GHG emissions.

RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION AND CONSUMPTION

We are committed to the sustainability of our processes in order to reduce our ecological footprint.

To this end, CEMOSA is committed to the digital transformation of the company. A good example of this has been the implementation of delivery notes in .pdf format, through a proprietary development integrated into the SAP platform.

This saves paper and contributes to protect the environment and the trees on the planet.

As a company, we believe that it is a necessity, not a duty, to combine the economic interests of our business with the protection of the environment.

For this reason, we adopt models of conduct that ensure respect for the environment.
