Project Description

Remote Loading Ramp and Associated facilities Design, Juan Santamaria International Airport, San Jose, Costa Rica.


This project consists of the rehabilitation and extension of the Remote Loading Platform of the Juan Santamaria International Airport of 90.000 m2; additionally it will require the reconstruction of the streets which provide access to the platform, Golf and Charlie North, that connect this one with the taxiway parallel to the runway Delta. The first of them will be designed for key E aircraft, and the second for key D.

As complementary actions, the designs of an environmental park, a hydrocarbon separation plant with a treatment capacity of 180l/s, design of horizontal and vertical signposting, lighting of the existing platform, as well as  of the canine police unit K9 facilities are carried out.

To implement this action plan, 74.646 m2 in flexible flooring and 14.430 m2 in rigid flooring will be rebuilt.
