Within the urban planning, CEMOSA participates providing advice and design for the set of technical and normative instruments that are drawn up to order the use of land and regulate the conditions for its transformation or conservation. This is achieved through the use of a spatial planning model, normally municipal, supramunicipal, or at an urban area or local district scale.
Among other sectors, urban planning is related to civil engineering to the extent to which it orders space and must ensure its proper integration with the existing infrastructures and urban systems. This implies that the experience of CEMOSA in these two sectors adds value to its contribution in such works.
Urban planning is materialized in urban development plans for which development CEMOSA carries out urbanization projects that include the design of roadways, water supply and sanitation networks, low and medium voltage power supply networks, lighting systems, telecommunications and gas network.
