Design of Taxiways Extension and Enlargement at the El Dorado International Airport, Bogotá, Colombia.

CIVIL WORK

This project involves carrying  out studies and designs for the taxiways extension and enlargement linking to  the new aircraft maintenance zone and  service roads associated with the manoeuvring area.

Landmark 1: Implementation of a taxiway parallel to MIKE that connects the new aircraft maintenance zone with the extension of the UNIFORM taxiway.

Landmark 2: Extension of the UNIFORM taxiway to connect the Northern Runway with the FOXTROT and ALFA taxiways. During this landmark, other important actions as the contract work of a tunnel-like passageway under this new taxiway and the execution of a new electrical substation.

Landmark 3: Extension of the parallel taxiway called FOXTROT with connection to the Northern Runway.

In total, 4.000 linear meters of new taxiways, with an overall work amount of around 90 millions of dollar have been developed.
