DESIGN. CIVIL WORKS

Design of the enlargement and rehabilitation works of a stretch of the Pan-American Highway 40 km long (between the stations 321k+ 550 and 362K+ 000). The widening consists of the enlargement from one to two carriageways, one per direction, with 2 lanes in each carriageway of 3.5 m. It also provides for the following actions:

-Geological-geotechnical study of the trace.

-Design of 8 vehicle bridges:

  • Vehicular bridge over the Santa Lucia river. Structure of double T beams type NU of 41 m in length.
  • Vehicular bridge over the La Honda river. Structure of double T beams type NU of 31m in length.
  • Vehicular bridge over the Quebrada la Honda river. Structure of 2 spans of double T beamsof 25.1+41 m in length.
  • Vehicular bridge over the Santiago river. Structure of 3 spans of double T beams type NU160 with 41 m in length.
  • Vehicular bridge over the Salado river. Structure of double T beams typeNU of 41 m in length each one.
  • Vehicular bridge over the Tole river. Drawer type of concrete structure built by cantilever forward from a single central stack, with two openings of 52.5 m in length.
  • Vehicular bridge over the Vigui river. Structure of double T beams type NU of 31+41+31 m in length.
  • Vehicular bridge over the Tabarasa river. Structure of 3 spans of double T beams 41+ 47.9 + 47.9 m in length.

-Design of 3 pedestrian bridges.

-Design of longitudinal and cross system drainage formed by ditches, curbs, kerbs, check boxes and CDW.

-Refurbisment of bus stops.

-Study of demolitions and affectations.

-Lighting system.

-Study of pavements in rehabilitation and widening through flexible road surface.

-Horizontal and vertical signalling.

-Design of new accesses, returns and refurbishments of existing ones.
