Construction geotechnical projects, hydraulic and electric installations, including the description of the construction method, waterproofing, terracing, instrumentation, and road network adaption for CONGONHAS Station, Line 17 of São Paulo metro, Brazil.
The Congonhas station has 60 m in length and a particular form of connection with Congonhas airport, through underground galleries and a tunnel under the avenue Washington Luis Paulo Autran, which provide an access to the airport’s parking.
The deployment of the station is located on a public plot owned by the São Paulo State and is developed alongside the Washington Luis Avenue which stands at varying levels.
With the aim to connect the station body structure with the access 1 structure, a part of access 1 corresponding to the station body structure was incorporated.
Final Structure of Access 1
Final structure of underground reinforced concrete with prior execution of a system of provisional containment with screens of reinforced concrete, temporary anchors and metallic struts.
