History CEMOSA has been pioneer in the quality control in Andalusia, always with a high degree of responsibility with all the stakeholders.

CEMOSA was founded in 1972 under the name of “Centro de Estudios de Materiales y Control de Obra, S.A.”. The headquarter is located in Málaga, and from the beginning are set up the quality control and the geotechnics departments. Two years after it is established the first site out from the province of Malaga, in Granada.

One of the most important goals of CEMOSA from its foundation has been the growth, innovation and new services for customer and for the society with the best quality and responsibility. For this reason, in 1980 is established the area of Engineering with two departments: Projects and Works Supervision.

In 1989 CEMOSA facilities were affected by the floods of that year and it is decided to build a new site.

In 2000, and because of the approval of the 1999 Building Regulation, CEMOSA becomes a “Technical Control Office (O.C.T.). This new task is under the responsibility of the Building Department.

The Almería site is established in 2001, and it is decided to bet for the growth out of Andalusia, creating the Madrid and Valladolid sites.

In 2002 the facilities in the Technology Park of Malaga open doors, housing the Engineering area. It is also established the Córdoba site.

In 2003, besides the creation of Badajoz site, CEMOSA looks for the diversification creating to new areas: Quality Advisory and Health& Safety. On the other hand, the Building department adds the Project management to its business.

In 2004, the new facilities in Málaga are finished, located beside CEMOSA headquarter and the Ciudad Real y en Alicante are established.
